Waldport south to Yachats

Waldport I left Waldport heading south as the sun started to go down (ie, solar yield decreasing). Before I left I walked the dog as usual.  The beach we walked on a few hours before was buried under the tide: Some small fishing boats came in close to check the traps:

I camped last night in a pull-out just south of town.   It rained off and on through the night. I returned to Waldport to walk the “main street” area, as that’s something I like to do in all new towns.  Also lets doggo stretch her legs a bit.   I parked behind the visitor’s center like

The overall temperature situation is about the same, and the fire hazards have reduced somewhat:.  My location is about 40% down the coast from the top of this image: My medium-term desire is to head SW in to Nevada when it is cool enough to do so.   The obvious routes to the SW have wildfires
